Adam Josephs
Adam spent more than twenty years managing engineering projects and product organizations at Apple, Microsoft, and a series of startups before turning to the question that has occupied him since: why teams with real talent and real budgets still fail to deliver.
Today he works with leadership and execution teams on product development, integrations, and high-stakes operational efforts, at companies ranging from early-stage startups to business units inside Goldman Sachs, Lam Research, and Google, across semiconductors, biotech, financial technology, and software.
Risk Up Front is taught at Dartmouth Engineering and the University of Maryland. Adam has taught the subject at New York University, U.C. Berkeley, Singularity University, and the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He is a graduate of Stanford University and Oxford University.
Adam makes his home in New York City, where he plays rugby and board games, and he is a passionate advocate for local animal rescue.
Brad Rubenstein
Before joining Celerity, Brad spent fifteen years building and leading software teams. He was an early software engineer and system architect at Sun Microsystems, led technology teams at software startups, and worked at the intersection of technology and finance as a vice president at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he designed, built, and managed trading and risk infrastructure.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
Outside of work, he loves music and theater, has performed in opera and symphonic choruses, and served as chairman at both the New York Dessoff Choirs and the New York Festival of Song. He remains an active producer of music festivals, theater, and independent film.
